So this is the -enth entry of the King of Attolia I've posted in a span of around 3 days. Is it my fault that this book has hooked me so?  The subtle yet meaningful romance of Eugenides and Irene/Attolia is so intriguing that I can't help re-reading their parts.  Sometimes (okay maybe most of the time) I find myself thinking that this book is even ( Read more... )

I've just finished King of Attolia and it's just so WONDERFUL.  I already have a favorite line:

Eugenides: Tell me you won't cut out my lying tounge, tell me you won't blind me, you won't drive red-hot wires into my ears.
Attolia: I love your eyes. I love your ears and I love every single one of your ridiculous lies.
